mood: blank music: Secondhand Serenade- Fall For You

I can't believe I still have this thing. I am somewhat soooo ashamed that I haven't updated in forever....like legitimately, forever. I wrote my last full length entry after my first semester in college...I am now finishing up my Spring semester before my senior year. It's ridiculous how life passes you by so quickly. I suppose it's only fair to update you all on my life since I've been MIA for so long.
1. Like I said previously, I am no longer a college freshman, but actually a college junior, soon-to-be senior. It's ridiculous. I love my college so much and am kinda sad that I'm going to be in the real world soo soon. It's somewhat intimidating, actually.
2. I'm student teaching High School English in the fall...Not quite sure what school I'm going to land in, but it will most likely be somewhere in the closer New York area. Thankfully!!!
3. I'm living in an amazing apartment of my own with an even more amazing roommate, my friend, Ashley. She's one of the most wonderful people I've ever met and we click so well. We're creepsters, together! Haha. She's beautiful inside and out and she's just like my confidante. Through all the quirky inside jokes, to the hungover trips to the local deli, we're like peanut butter and jelly.
4. I'm single. I guess some things never change, eh? Actually I don't even wish to talk about just how ridiculously upset I am about my singleness. I feel really lonely and just wish I could meet a guy that fits me. And I could fit him. I don't want to have to over compensate who I am or under compensate, either. It just really sucks having a guy I'd give the world for and him not giving a flying fuck. (Sorry, I'll end this rant there.)
5. I've been pretty closer to my Mom through the years. She's my rock. I can't believe how much she gives up just to help me out. She's the epitome of lovely.
6. I'm unemployed...actually, not completely. I have a job prospect for the summer at the local restaurant about three blocks up from my apartment. Hopefully, I land it! That would be pretty effin' sweet. I'll be taking my friend, Jess' spot since she's graduating and moving back Upstate, so it's kinda a good in.
7. I'm obsessed with three particular songs at the moment: Secondhand Serenade- Fall For You, Metro Station- Shake It, and MIA- Paper Planes. Pretty eclectic choice, I must say...but they're all just making a very happy person.
8. I deleted my Facebook, so that's the reason I'm back on this. I suppose a person can't be completely isolated from the outside world...and I must say, I feel like this is gunna be a lot more beneficial than Facebook. This actually lets me say HOW i FEEL. Unlike just stalking people and bumper stickers...(not like those aren't fun) Haha.
Well, I have a Psych final to study for. Fuck. I hate this week so much. I just want the summer to be here. Boo.
